Wer in dunler Nacht nach der Venus fahndet, kann sich mit Skyscout helfen lassen: Mit diesem genialen Peilgerät findet jeder den weg zu Planeten und Galaxien.
Der Celestron SkyScout ist ein revolutionäres neues
"Handplanetarium" mit eingebautem GPS-Empfänger.
Peilen Sie ein Himmelsobjekt an und der SkyScout informiert Sie am Display
und auch per Sprache (vorerst in Englisch) über das Objekt.
Identifizieren:
Richten Sie den SkyScout auf ein x-beliebiges Himmelsobjekt und nach Drücken der Start-Taste
wird Ihnen auf dem Display angezeigt (auch mit Sprachausgabe) um welches Himmelsobjekt
es sich handelt. Dazu gibt es dann noch jede Menge Informationen zum Objekt.
Suchen:
Wählen Sie aus den umfangreichen Datenbanken ein astronomisches Beobachtungsobjekt
aus und der SkyScout navigiert Sie über Pfeile im Display, bis Sie das gewünschte Objekt mit
dem SkyScout anvisieren. Anschließend können Sie alle zu diesem Objekt
abgespeicherten Informationen abrufen.
Lernen:
Der SkyScout ist KEIN Spielzeug. Die Datenspeicher des SkyScouts enthalten umfangreiche
Informationen zu vielen Objekten, die von Fakten über Geschichtliches bis hin
zur Mythologie reichen.
So kann der SkyScout Ihr persönliches Planearium sein und Sie lernen mit ihm vieles
über Sterne, Planeten und Sternbilder. Amateurastronomen, die sich am nördlichen
Sternhimmel auskennen, kann SkyScout auf Urlaubsreisen in südliche Länder begleiten
und helfen sich am dortigen Sternenhimmel zurecht zu finden.

Datenbanken für über 6000 Sterne, 1500 Doppel- und Veränderliche Sterne,
100 Gasnebel, Galaxien und Sternhaufen, Planeten und alle 88 Sternbilder,

Eine interessante Anwendung in Kombination mit Fernrohren:
Befestigen Sie den Sky Scout parallel zum Fernrohr - einfach mit dem TS Sky-Scout Halter
- passend zum TS Sucherschuh (kompatibel mit Vixen, Skywatcher, Celestron ... Sucherschuh).
Stellen Sie das Zielobjekt im Sucher oder im Hauptrohr ein und Sie können am Sky-Scout
alle relevanten Informationen zum Objekt erfahren. Damit wissen Sie immer genau, welches
Objekt Sie beobachten. Der Sky-Scout kann Ihnen auch eine schöne Tour durch diverse
Sternbilder bieten. Durch den USB Anschluss können Sie die Datenbank
Ihres Sky-Scount gut auffüllen.
